Baby's Beginnings
Baby Abigail started out as a "Jordan" sculpt created by renowned Netherlands artist, Adrie Stoete-Schuiteman. The kit is from the ""Little Dreams Collection" by DollDreams.net in the United States and Puppen-Traumland in Europe. All of their doll kits are made from 100% soft vinyl and are phatalate-free.
Bringing her "to life" over a period of several weeks was pure enjoyment as this baby's uniqueness began to emerge.
She has features that truly make her an especially cute bundle of joy. Did you notice how she looks like a little angel when she's sleeping? They remind me of how sweet my own daughters looked when they were sleepy little newborns.
Lifelike Eyelids, Lashes and Eyebrows
Baby Abigail's eyes are closed, but they would be an adorable newborn blue. Notice the lifelike veining and skin tones in her face. Baby Abigail is truly one-of-a-kind.
Baby Abbie is a little towhead with brown mohair eyelashes that will be just right as she grows and her hair darkens. Her "barely-there" eyebrows are textured and painted with the tiniest of brushes one hair at a time.
Truly Lifelike Skin & Veining
Baby Abigail's skin is made from soft vinyl that is very soft and smooth. It was painted and blushed using layer upon layer of transparent Genesis Artist Colors to achieve the gentle, peaches and cream complexion. Like many newborns, her skin does have some mottling, scratches and baby "stork bites."
If you adopt her, you might want to put little mittens on her to keep her from scratching her eyes.
Notice the shading in this baby's lips. It makes them look truly real. Can't you just imagine her using them to suck on her pacifier?
If you click on "more images", you will see thhe photos are large. This way you can see the lifelike veins in her limbs and face that make her look like she's going to start breathing at any moment. Her skin now has a baby soft appearance.
Limbs, Fingers, Toes
I keep watching to see if Baby Izzie is going to suck her thumb or curl her toes. Her fingernails and toenails have natural, manicured look that is reminiscent of a newborn's.
Each tiny crease has been carefully blushed and shaded from her cute face down to her baby feet. Her little legs look so real, we can expect her to kick at any moment!
Cuddly, Poseable Body
This adorable baby doll has been given a jointed, doe-suede body for full limbs. This body ensures maximum poseability. She has a belly plate for those times when you want to see her belly button. You will love Baby Abigail's cuddly, weighted body. Her body, head, and limbs contain glass beads, plastic pellets, and fiberfill.
Baby's Curls
Close examination of the hair of a natural blonde shows it takes more than one color to create the color. Two colors of premium blonde mohair was micro-rooted (one or two hairs at a time) into Baby Abbie's head. Naturally curly, her hair appears thin and uncut just as a real baby's hair might look. The mohair has been sealed from the inside with waterproof sealer. If necessary, baby's hair may be dampened and gently combed. Baby Abbie will arrive with her very own comb and brush set, as well as, care instructions.

Additional "baby tears" (appearance of moisture) can be added to the baby's vinyl parts (such as lips, nails, etc.) upon request.

Baby Abigail is an adult collectible doll and not a toy for children.

If you find anything wrong with the doll that was not stated in the description: please contact us within three days after receipt of the doll. Returns will be accepted if we are contacted within 3 days after receipt, and the doll is sent to us within 7 days after receipt. Monies will be refunded except shipping costs. After that time, all sales are final.
